Monthly wrap up #1 (June)

Hello bookworms,

June is already over. Time flies right? Of course it does and which leads to my very first monthly wrap up post. Applause please.

Alright, so without further ado let’s get to the books I read this month. So, I’ve read 8 books this month which isn’t bad for me since I am a slow reader. It was a good reading month for me. I followed my TBR strictly which I am really happy about. I was able to get to all the books on my TBR.

The books I read this month:

I had a pretty good reading month πŸ™ˆ

# of Books read – 8

# of pages read – 3424

Average rating – 4.1

( Most of the books I read this month were over 400 pages. I nailed it, didn’t I? )

  • City of Bones – 🌟🌟🌟🌟
  • Passenger – 🌟🌟🌟🌟 1/2
  • Geekerella – 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
  • Since you’ve been gone – 🌟🌟🌟
  • Lifel1k3 – 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
  • City of ashes – 🌟🌟🌟🌟
  • Sky in the deep – 🌟🌟🌟 1/2
  • A thousand perfect notes – 🌟🌟🌟🌟1/2

Favourite song of the month

Sober by Demi Lovato. I’ve had this song on repeat and still can’t get enough of this song πŸ™ˆ.

Favourite TV show

I really enjoyed this show. It was so dark and whimsical and also realistic at the same time. If you like mermaids then you should definitely check this out.

Favourite Movie

I watched the LOTR movies for the first time this month. (Don’t freak out) and I have to say that the movies are perfection 😍 might just be my favourite movies of all time ❀

Favourite Book

I am gonna say both of my 5 star reads of the month because I am not able to chose one. I loved both of these books so much ❀

That’s all for the wrap up guys. Thanks for reading. What were some of your favourites of the month?

  1. You just watched LOTR 😱😱😱😱
Did you get the extended editions though… you haven’t done justice to it if you haven’t done a 12 hour marathon 😜😜😜 Just kidding…
I just love these movies sooooo much !!!!

      1. It happens… my husband refuses to even watch one movie at once these days… especially not the third one coz it’s more than 4 hours… but I love it 😍😍😍

  2. I remember one of our local pubs organized a LotR marathon once. I didn’t go, cuz it sounded like torture, sitting there all day, but when you watch at home it’s probably more comfortable πŸ˜ƒ I’d still not be able to pay attention for that long.

Thousand perfect notes was so awesome, and since you’ve been gone is such a summer book! 😍

I want to read Lifelike as well!

    1. Even I am not good at marathoning, I can’t pay attention for that long and often lose interest.

  4. Girrrrrrlllll, how did you make your pictures for your books!? I love it! (if it’s a secret that’s okay, teheh). I also loved Geekerella and gave 3 stars to Since You’ve Been Gone. I thought it was okay but felt like it could have been way better. Also.. DEMI LOVATO HAS A NEW SONG!? She’s one of my favorite singers and now I feel like a terrible fan. HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS!?

    1. You need to, absolutely need to go and hear Sober now. It’s so good 😍 and I felt the same way about Sine you’ve been gone. Something was always missing. And girl, it’s a secret πŸ™ˆπŸ™ŠπŸ™‰ shhh. Haha ❀
